Drip Coffee Maker — Step by Step

Clean the external parts while the machine soaks: Wash the carafe, brew basket, and lid with dish soap. Wipe the spray head with a damp cloth — mineral deposits often accumulate there and block individual holes.

Keurig Machines

Keurig descaling works the same way with minor differences due to the single-serve design:

  1. Disable Auto-Off if your model has it — the machine needs to stay on during the soak.
